Mark Kersey Dip CII,
Client Service Director

I focus on providing fantastic customer service to all our clients and help Kevin and the team to continue to grow the Practice through St. James's Place Wealth Management.

My previous role was with a High Street bank working as a Private Banking Manager looking after 350 plus clients wealth requirements, prior to that role I was a Cashier, Personal Banker and Premier Manager at the same bank which involved looking at my clients' financial plans and discussing ways to achieve them. This often involved looking at ways to invest funds, protect themselves and their families, inheritance tax planning and later life planning.

We recognise that regular contact with our clients is a priority, and our clients are able to email or phone either Kevin or myself directly.



Louise Mosby PgDip HRM,
Practice Manager

I joined the Practice in 2014. In addition to delivering the ongoing marketing needs of the Practice I also manage the company finances, payroll and associated Practice administration. On completion of my Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, I worked as an HR Manager within various sectors including the NHS, a high street firm of solicitors and a nationally recognised publishing company. I also have valuable experience working within the finance sector at the head office of Bradford and Bingley within a senior PA role at director level. The support I give the team allows them to spend more time helping our clients wherever possible.



Sam Pearce APFS, Cert CII(FS),
Adviser

I have worked in the financial services industry since graduating from university in 2002. I now specialise in offering bespoke wealth management advice for private individuals, businesses and trustees. The scope of my advice covers the full financial planning spectrum and includes the following areas:

  • Savings and Investment planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning
  • Wealth/Income Protection

Understanding my client’s current circumstances is fundamental before discussing their goals and objectives and how we aim to achieve these via the production of a detailed financial plan. This is then reviewed regularly to ensure it remains appropriate and on course with an aim to fulfill client aspirations, making adjustments in response to changing goals and/or circumstances when needed.

My main career objective continues to be the creation of lasting, trusted client relationships through the provision of expert advice.

Lisa Alder Dip PFS,
Adviser

I have worked in the Financial Services industry since 1990 working for Financial Advisers, Employee Benefits and Major Life/Pension Companies. I am Dip PFS qualified and a PRINCE2 Practitioner. I have significant experience gained working within the Corporate Benefits marketplace especially in Defined Contribution Pensions and Auto-enrolment. I am passionate about building and maintaining relationships with clients at all levels, which have included FTSE 100 companies.

In addition to Employee Benefits, my scope of advice covers the full financial planning spectrum. I believe that building professional and trusted relationships with both my individual and corporate clients is paramount. Regular discussion and review of goals and objectives ensures that advice remains appropriate and helps to fulfill the client's needs.



Kamala Haffner DipFA,
Adviser

Since 2006 I have worked in financial services, beginning in one of the top high street banks. My role as a Financial Adviser gives me the opportunity to do what I love, meet new people and help them achieve their financial aspirations. I believe that planning for a secure future is one of the most important steps all individuals need to take to make sure their financial dreams are fulfilled. My role entails getting to know individuals, discovering new areas within their financial circumstances and recommending a solution that is unique to them.



Ben Mills,
Analyst, Researcher and Paraplanner

I have spent all my working life in financial services. After leaving school, I joined a major pensions and life assurance provider. Initially I administered AVC and group pension schemes before spending almost two decades developing and supporting the company’s IT systems. During this period I also became very interested in many areas of personal finance, in particular different types of investments. The knowledge I acquired stood me in good stead when, following a career break, I was delighted to accept Kevin’s invitation to join his Practice and embark on a new path as a Paraplanner and analyst.



James Beattie,
Paraplanner

I joined the Practice towards the end of 2016. My day to day role is to provide administrative support to the office to enable the advisers to work more time effectively. I also help the Paraplanning team to produce illustrations and reports.



Hayley Gillies,
Paraplanner

As a Paraplanner my role is to support our advisers by ensuring that the business generated by the Practice is processed correctly and efficiently. My main responsibilities are to collate our clients’ information, preparing the relevant documentation and assisting on cases to completion.

I have worked in the Financial Services sector since graduating from university in 2009. I initially started out as an Insurance Analyst at an Insurance Brokers in Ipswich, where I reviewed and evaluated the financials of various global insurance companies. I also spent five years working in the City of London as an Account Executive, specialising in Professional Indemnity Insurance. After coming to the end of my maternity leave, I was keen to work closer to home and subsequently joined the Practice in April 2017.



Amy Hendy,
Assistant Paraplanner

I joined the Practice in May 2018, previously I worked for a third party administrator in Chelmsford for 3 years. My current role in the Practice is to help with any administrative tasks and to support the team. This is to ensure all client information is processed efficiently to help make sure the best service is provided.



Sam Byrne CeMAP,
Business Relationship Executive

I have worked in the Financial Services industry for all my adult life. From school I began as a Bank Cashier and then promoted to Personal Banker, Mortgage and Protection Adviser, Bank Manager and Area Mortgage Manager for a major high street bank before being invited to join Kevin’s Practice. I help clients from all walks of life and I have always had a strong ethos in ensuring every client receives a first class service. My role in the Practice as Business Relationship Executive entails playing an instrumental part in helping to promote our services to business owners and individuals who have financial planning needs. I am very passionate about ensuring that all of our clients receive a 1st class service and that in their time of need they will know they can come to me for help.
